§ Mrs. LaitTo ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what is the highest possible level of family income which will be supplemented by working families tax credit and/or child care tax allowance. [47484]
§ Dawn Primarolo[holding answer 6 July 1998]: The highest possible level of family income which will be supplemented by the WFTC depends on the number, and age, of the children in the family. For example, a family with two children under 11 and maximum eligible childcare costs will still receive some WFTC with family income of around £31,000.
