§ Mr. Tom ClarkeThe Department for Culture, Media and Sport is reviewing its contingency plans in the light of the possible disruption to computer systems due to the Year 2000 date change. The revised plans will reflect the compliance work currently under way and be informed by the state of readiness of those suppliers upon which the Department depends. The plans will be developed and tested over the coming 12 months to ensure that they are in place in good time for the critical dates involved in the Year 2000 date change.
