§ Mr. HainAs my hon. Friend knows, an investigation by the Department for Education and Employment's Fraud Investigation Unit started on 24 June. The Gwent Constabulary are also investigating the matter. In these circumstances, no further public statements would be appropriate until these investigations are completed and the findings made public.
