Member for Vauxhall (Kate Hoey) of 16 January 1998,Official Report, column 344, what is the cost to the Exchequer of the measures announced regarding the level of national insurance contracting-out rebates. The cost of increasing the age related rebates for holders of Appropriate Personal Pensions for the tax year 2000/2001 is £140 million1.
