§ Mr. HoonComprehensive plans for the achievement of Year 2000 compliance in the Department, its Agencies and other bodies which report to the Lord Chancellor, including the Land Registry and the Public Record Office, were delivered to the Central Computer and Telecommunications Agency in October 1997. They have since been placed in the public domain. The plans document in detail areas of vulnerability and the remedial action required to combat the Year 2000 problem.
A supplement to the plans was issued in December 1997 and quarterly progress reports will also be made available. The first of these will be prepared shortly, for publication in March.
