§ Mr. HainThe TEC (CELTEC) and the Employment Service in North Wales are liaising with the company's consultants to see what help can be given to the staff who are to be made redundant. The TEC consider this redundancy to be a significant one and covered by the definition of "significant redundancy". This means that employees can be considered for Training for Work immediately (rather than having to wait six months). The local authority, as well as the Welsh Office and its other agencies, also stand ready to offer every possible assistance.
