§ Angela EagleProjects within the Northumberland County Council's area have to date received £26,377,479 from the Regional Development Fund (EDRF) in the last three years. A total of 170 projects have been supported 371W under the following European Structural Funds Programmes: North East of England Objective 2, Northern Uplands Objective 5b, PESCA Community Initiative and RECHAR II Community Initiative. Regional projects approved under the aforementioned programmes have also provided assistance in the Northumberland area.
The Northumberland area has also benefited from support from the European Social Fund (ESF) and the European Agricultural Guidance Guarantee Fund (EAGGF).
