To ask the President of the Board of Trade, pursuant to her answer of 22 December 1997,Official Report, column 520, if she will provide a breakdown of the sum spent on the President's apartment. [22653]

The tax treatment of my Admiralty flat is in accordance with the provisions of the Taxes Act 1988 as it applies to accommodation provided to a person by reason of their employment or the office they hold.
