What is their estimate of the total costs of giving training to members of courts and tribunals about the implications of the forthcoming Human Rights Act; and how it is intended that funds should be allocated for this purpose across the United Kingdom.122WA
§ The Lord Chancellor
The cost of judicial training in preparation for implementation of the Human Rights Bill is estimated to be £5.0 million: £4.5 million for England and Wales; £450,000 for Scotland and £50,000 for Northern Ireland. Continuation training will be provided after implementation as necessary.
