To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions how many cards conveying opposition to Hertfordshire County Council's plans to build 10,000 houses in the Green Belt he has received. [22589]

We have so far received approximately six and a half thousand identical postcards requesting that the Secretary of State call in the proposals in Hertfordshire County Council's Structure Plan Review for major development in the Green Belt west of Stevenage.
