§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 22 December 1997]: If a local authority enforcement officer considers that bone-in beef sold to the ultimate consumer has come from animals over six months old at slaughter, (the age limit contained in the Beef Bones Regulations 1997) the onus will be on the seller to demonstrate the true age of the animal concerned.
