§ Mr. MilburnIndependent nursing homes are regulated under the Registered Homes Act 1984, and are required to provide adequate numbers of professional and technical staff with regard to the number, age, sex and condition of the residents in any one home. The precise number of qualified nursing staff required for any individual nursing home is for the health authority to determine as the registering authority.
