§ Mr. DarlingReports by departments on their individual spending reviews within the Comprehensive Spending Review (CSR) are made to the Ministerial Committee on Public Expenditure. The results of the CSR will be reported to Parliament in the Summer as I said when I announced the Review on 11 June last year,Official Report, columns 1143–57.

§ Mr. DarlingThe Comprehensive Spending review covers public expenditure across the board. It will produce a coherent and coordinated set of plans for directing expenditure across Government to areas where we believe it is most needed. Mechanisms are in place to ensure that individual reviews take account of relevant proposals in other areas.
