§ Mr. Dewar
The budget for the Crown Office and Lord Advocate's Department is provided by Parliament under separate vote arrangements: Class VIII, Vote 7, 1997–98. The current authorised cash limit for that year is £45,337,000. Details were published in the Supply Estimates, a copy of which is in the House Library.
