To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer what progress has been made within the Paris Club in agreeing the terms of debt relief for Mozambique. [27239]

Negotiations are still continuing in a number of international fora on the issue of providing debt relief for Mozambique under the HIPC initiative. The UK is working hard to secure a quick solution that will provide a full and sustainable exit for Mozambique from its debt problems.
