§ Mr. MandelsonLondon Underground publicly confirmed earlier this week that the Jubilee Line Extension will be completed, with up to 24 trains an hour running through from Stanmore to Stratford from spring 1999, well before the opening of the Millennium Experience at Greenwich. The proposed level of service will cater fully for the substantial number of visitors expected to travel to the Greenwich site on the Jubilee Line in 2000.
