Mr. Webb

To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, pursuant to her answer of 15 January 1998,Official Report, column 314, what proportion of recipients of statutory maternity pay fall within the weekly earnings bands (a) under £100, (b) £100 to £199, (c) £200 to £299,(d) £300 to £399, (e) £400 to £499, (f) £500 to £599 and (g) £600 or more.
