§ Mr. Win GriffithsA health survey of adults was carried out in Wales during 1995 and one of the questions asked was 'Are you being treated for diabetes?'. The results showed that diabetes was reported by 3.2 per cent. of the adult population. Respondents were also asked if any children, under the age of 18 years, in their household were being treated for diabetes and the responses suggested that this was the case for approximately 0.3 per cent. of children.
