§ Mr. RaynsfordGrants under Part I of the Housing Grants, Construction and Regeneration Act 1996, including Home Repair Assistance, do not and should not depend on the ethnic grouping of the applicant. They are housing grants and eligibility depends on the type and age of the dwelling and the applicant's interest in the property. My Department is currently reviewing the criteria for eligibility for Home Repair Assistance in so far as they relate to the site on which a mobile home is situated.
