To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions how many(a) waste minimisation projects and (b) projects to help with the remediation of contaminated land have been supported by ENTRUST; and at what value. [60872]

According to ENTRUST, the relevant figures to date are(a) Waste Minimisation Projects 134 projects have been approved by ENTRUST, with a total value of £14,573,200. Of these, 35 projects have been implemented, with a value of £2,069,740. (b) Projects to help with the Remediation of Contaminated Land 139 projects have been approved by ENTRUST, with a total value of £21,388,140. Of these, 33 projects have been implemented, with a value of £1,252,400.
