§ Mr. FatchettWe are working closely with EU partners, ASEAN and other "Friends of Cambodia" to encourage the Cambodians to hold free and fair elections on 26 July. The EU is providing a 10 mecu assistance package, subject to strict political conditionality. We are also contributing £100,000 to the UN Trust Fund for election assistance, and may make further contributions if the need arises and political conditions are met.
