§ Mr. HoonThe Court Service is planning initiatives to save £4.25 million in 1998–99; £9.95 million in 1999–2000; and £12.05 million in 2000–01. The savings will come from computerisation of administrative tasks in both the Crown and county courts, improved energy efficiency and the better use of resources.
