§ Mr. BoatengInformation on the caseloads of community psychiatric nurses is not collected centrally. The Department does collect the full-time equivalent totals of qualified nurses working in community psychiatry by National Health Service trust, as well as the number of first contacts per year. The ratio between the two gives the average number of patients seen per qualified nurse working in community psychiatry per year for each trust.
