To ask the Secretary of State for Wales how many new community hospitals have been built in Wales since 1992; and if he will list them. [37675]

Mr. Win Griffiths

Six community hospitals have been built since 1992. They are:

  • Barry Neighbourhood—The Vale of Glamorgan
  • Cefni—Llangefni, Isle of Anglesey
  • Deeside—Flintshire
  • Ebbw Vale—Blaenau Gwent
  • Torfaen—Pontypool
  • Penrhos Stanley—Holyhead, Isle of Anglesey.
