§ Mr. MacdonaldIvermectin has been prescribed as a treatment for sea lice infestation of farmed salmon and a number of consents for its use have been granted by the Scottish Environment Protection Agency under control of pollution legislation. In addition, a number of other applications have been referred to my right hon. Friend for possible call-in and these are under consideration. It would be inappropriate for me to comment further at this stage.
