What is the latest total of taxes including VAT paid by (a) smokers, (b) the tobacco manufacturing industry, (c) wholesale distributors of tobacco products and (d) tobacco retailers.

Information is not available in the form requested. The total of excise duty and VAT on tobacco products and of income and corporation tax paid by tobacco manufacturers was some £10 billion in 1996–97.
