When they intend to lay before the House the 1996 Report entitled The Independent Monitor (Asylum and Immigration Appeals Act 1993) by Dame Elizabeth Anson.

The report was laid on 31 July 1997. Copies have been placed in the Libraries of the House. The Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs welcomes the Report and notes Dame Elizabeth's recommendations, which will receive careful consideration.
