§ Mr. BoatengThe establishment of the United Kingdom Xenotransplantation Interim Regulatory Authority was announced on 16 January 1997 in response to the recommendations of the Advisory Group on the Ethics of Xenotransplantation. Its membership was announced on 14 March 1997. I refer my hon. Friend to the reply I gave him on 27 October at columns764–65.
