To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer how many public interest immunity certificates were issued in the case of Inland Revenue v. Michael Allcock. [18855]

[holding answer 17 March 1997]: No certificates or affidavits claiming public interest immunity were issued in this case, which was a criminal prosecution conducted by the Crown Prosecution Service and not by the Inland Revenue.
