Letter from Tim Holt to Mr. Hugh Bayley, dated 18 March 1997: The Chancellor of the Exchequer has asked me to reply to your recent question asking for the number of live births that occurred in England and Wales in each of the last three years for which data are available. The figures requested are shown in the table below.
