§ Mr. Roger EvansThe Department of Social Security has had an environmental strategy in place since 1992. Our environmental audits concentrate on auditing all new buildings and major refurbishment to obtain Building Research Establishment environmental assessment method accreditation.
The Department encourages use of the Environment Agency's DIY environmental performance checklist for premises management.
