§ Mr. FisherMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State announced the list of designated museums and galleries on 24 June. He also announced an increase in the maximum number of museums and galleries in England that can be designated from 30 to 50. Further applications will be invited by the Museums and Galleries Commission in due course. The list of 26 designated museums and galleries is as follows:
