§ Dr. Jack CunninghamReforming the CAP dairy regime and its system of milk quotas is a high priority for the Government. I shall continue to press in the Agriculture Council for cuts in support prices and the removal of quotas, to be accompanied by time limited, degressive and non-discriminatory aid payments to dairy farmers, decoupled from production, in order to facilitate adjustment to these reforms.
