§ The Prime MinisterOver the past five years, the Cabinet Office Estate, including 10 and 11 Downing Street, has had in place a programme to maximise energy efficiency and minimise waste. A reduction of 15 per cent. in energy consumption has been achieved over the period. The programme of work in support of increasing energy efficiency will continue.
527WThe National Home Energy Rating Scheme is designed for use in assessing domestic energy efficiency and is not appropriate for application to buildings such as those in the Downing Street complex.
