§ Ms Glenda JacksonNegotiations between London Underground and the Powerlink consortium are still taking place. London Underground are optimistic that a deal will be concluded. If it goes ahead, the Power PFI project will include a substantial upgrade of the Northern Lines power system by the contractor, as well as improvements to meet the rest of the networks power needs.
