§ Mr. Raymond S. Robertson[holding answer 17 January 1997): There have been no recognised outbreaks of Newcastle disease in Scotland in the last five years. Widespread vaccination of poultry has been instrumental in maintaining the health status of the national poultry flock during the last decade.
