§ Mr. HagueI have allocated under the Welsh capital challenge scheme £1.5 million to Cardiff county council for the refurbishment of the city hall as well as a further £2 million for improvements to Cardiff central square. My officials are in discussions with the county council about these and other projects which will improve the city centre for the European Council in June 1998.
