To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many man-days of training have been conducted in the Galloway training area in each of the last five years. [16873]

¹ Figures available for period April to December 1996 only; these have been calculated on a different basis from those given for the preceding years and now include training undertaken by the reserve forces, cadets and the other two services.
