§ Mr. Michael Forsyth[holding answer 3 February 1997]: By 1 January 1997, the Scottish Office Agriculture, Environment and Fisheries Department had made 3 per cent. of the advance payments under the suckler cow premium scheme. By the end of January, 79 per cent. had been made. This is approximately the same percentage as this time last year.
