§ Mrs. BrowningWe have consulted the farming industry extensively on our plans. The Department has issued three consultation documents—in October 1995, and in August and December 1996. Numerous discussions have been held with farming interests, including a workshop entirely devoted to the subject, which my right hon. and learned Friend and I held on 5 November 1996.
