§ Sir Paul BeresfordThe Local Government Pension Scheme Regulations 1995 set out comprehensive statutory requirements under which local authorities are required to manage their pension funds. The regulations allow authorities to select and appoint to select and appoint external fund managers authorised under the Financial Services Act 1986. Collated information on fund managers is available commercially.
