§ Mr. RookerThose rendering plans in England and Wales currently receiving specified bovine material are as follows:
- Granox Ltd.
- Peninsular Protein

Controls on effluent from rendering plants are a matter for the relevant regulatory body—the relevant water services company for discharges to sewers or the Environment Agency for discharges to environmental waters, i.e. rivers. Approvals to process specified bovine material are issued subject to any conditions on control of effluent which the relevant regulatory body may judge necessary in individual circumstances.
