§ Mr. Mike O'Brien[holding answer 19 December 1997]: It is my intention to make these instructions available as soon as possible in the new year. There is a considerable amount of material, extending to many volumes, and we are examining how it can be disclosed. It is likely that a text will be made available in the Library and, given the amount of material, we are considering whether, if possible, to make it available on the Internet for ease of access. This will be a substantial step in Open Government within the terms of the Code of Practice on Open Government.
