To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many applications were made for the vacant CRE Commission posts; and how many persons were shortlisted. [21871]

A total of 1,029 applications were received for six posts. Twenty-one candidates were shortlisted for interview. I expect to make a decision on appointments shortly.
