§ Mr. Morley[holding answer 15 December 1997]: Staff in the Department and Agencies are salaried and are not paid by the hour. However, I am able to provide a breakdown based on salary levels divided by normal full-time working hours of 36 hours per week in London or 37 hours elsewhere. This is as set out. The figures are based on 1997 salaries which took effect from 1 April.
