To ask the Secretary of State for Social Security, pursuant to her answer of 2 December 1997,Official Report, columns 186–201, what she estimates to be the total saving in 1998–99 from expenditure on lone parent benefits by not increasing in line with the annual rise in prices (a) child benefit for the eldest and only child of a lone parent, (b) council tax benefit family premium, lone parent rate, (c) housing benefit family premium, lone parent rate and (d) income support family premium, lone parent rate.
