To ask the Secretary of State for Defence what will be the impact on his Department's budget of the introduction of resource-based accounting; and if he will make a statement. [19839]

When fully implemented, resource accounting will provide visibility of the full costs of all resources consumed. This will enable better informed management and decision taking throughout the department.
