To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment how much was available for the local education authority in Doncaster to spend on each pupil, in(a) 1994–95, (b) 1995–96 and (c) 1996–97. [40983]

Local authorities are free to determine their own levels of spending on pupils within their total budgets. The per pupil allowances in the education component of Doncaster's standard spending assessment are as follows:
