To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Employment (1) how many people have embarked on a course to become a nursery education inspector; how many have successfully completed that course; what is the total number of qualified nursery education inspectors; and what were the recruitment targets; [40528]

(2) if she will require that inspections of voucher-bearing institutions be carried out during term time, when voucher-bearing children are present. [40534]
