§ Mr. ForsythOfficials from the Scottish Office and East Renfrewshire council met on 12 November to discuss the further work to be carried out by the council in developing its bid to the 1998–99 transport challenge fund for the Glasgow southern orbital road. There have been no discussions with authorities in Lanarkshire or Ayrshire.
